Move Over McDonalds
It’s now Cookie Monster’s fault that Americans are overweight. No more “C is for Cookie”. Now it’s “A Cookie is Sometimes Food”. How in the world do they ever get that to rhyme, much less set it to music?
Show producers say with the rise in childhood obesity, “Sesame Street” is focusing on teaching children about healthy foods and physical activity.
How about just not parking kids in front of the tv to begin with?

yeah! Or, you could try my mom’s trick: locking (well, not literally) the kids outside with a gallon of water for the day! I know this sounds cruel…but, for real, we had so much fun building motes and hiking in the woods and collecting bugs and fishing for tadpoles…we made our barbies play with stick bugs and roly pollies! Now, where’s the barbie that does that? We even pulled weeds once in a while! And, if we wanted a snack, we would go to the neighboring lumber yard and put our quarters in the machines for some boston baked beans! Lock your kids outside! That’s the answer!
Maybe the world was safer then….
