Stop the Cheesianity

This stuff with Terri is bringing out the cheese and I must say something that’s been on my heart long before all this.

Ok, say we’re all on the Titantic and it’s sinking. But this time there are enough life boats for everyone. But some people are afraid of life boats. Some people hate life boats. So instead of calmly helping all people into a life boat, one way or another earning their trust and bringing them into the boat, we yell at them and tell them they weren’t good enough and that the Commander of the rescue team on the horizon hates them anyway. Or we ignore them and just pontificate from afar. Smugly, we let them go down with the ship as we enjoy an nice spacious ride each in our own little exclusive life boat.

American Christians KNOCK IT OFF! Wake up! This is not who God is!!! And if you think it is, you are really on your own personal Titantic!

Please have mercy, beg God for mercy and pray for this nation and its leaders.

Please do not quote God’s judgements especially when you don’t even know where it comes from or how it came about. We are so quick to condemn the people HE DIED FOR. He did not and does not dole out judgements lightly or nearly half as much as we do. Please do not condemn your neighbors - God can handle them and He wants your help, not your opinion.

Stop listening to the MSM. “Whatever % of Americans say…” Since when should we believe or trust MSM polls or information, much less make doctrine out of them? The MSM is one of the enemy’s greatest smoke screens. It’s like saying, “the enemy says…” and using it to support your defense of God. Brilliant.

Enough already with the threat of end time left out-ness. We’re not on the kindergarten playground. We’re supposed to GROW UP from that. If Jesus didn’t even know the time of His return, how can we?

Mark 13:32 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.”

Knowing the time isn’t the point of being a Christian. Knowing HIM is.

None of us should be happy about the decline and destruction of our nation. We should all be weeping, repenting and rescuing, because, ultimately, when someone stands up in a life boat to taunt or gloat…

They tip over.

Amen. I was saddened to hear that one of the ?judges? in this case was asked to leave his Baptist church(this from a conversation with my sister - don’t know about the credibility). What an example of Christ’s love that is…It seems all too familiar with people who want to murder the doctors who perform abortion…I was thinking about what Jesus would do differently in so many situations that I find myself in, and that kind of action really is RADICAL. It is only typical and lazy to let our emotions take over to the point that we’ve begun to condemn others or despise or exclude. How so very lucky we are that the blood of Jesus covers us, purifies, and makes us whole again.
